Section 1 - Introduction

 

BIT has installed two (2) security systems to control access to data: 

        a.          RACF:  (Resource Access Control Facility) to secure on-line (CICS) transactions and computer files (DATA SETS), specific SYSD functions, and terminal access.  

        b.          Natural Security:  to secure the NATURAL environment. 

These systems require that all users (User-IDs), CICS trans­actions, and Natural Applications be defined.
