Section 4 - Final File Adjustments

When the system is ready for production status or soon after the system has gone productional, the system performance should be reviewed to validate that there are no apparent bottlenecks and to ensure that descriptors are justifiably used.  Until BIT establishes a formal system review procedure, an informal review can be made by producing detailed log reports of a particular file or terminal for a particular timeframe.  Coordination for capturing the detail log information must be done with the DBA staff prior to the testing period.
